Week of Jun 01 – Jun 07, 2026

This week saw 17 issues with activity. 9 shipped or merged to dev, with 5 still in flight. Heavy focus on Receptionist V2 - Hardening (6), UX Mobile Simplification (1), Bugs (1), Dynamic Context Engineering System (1).

Shipped this week

Warm agent handoff to humans (Receptionist)

When a patient asks to be transferred to someone, the call now goes through cleanly — the caller gets connected, the person receiving the call sees the full context of the conversation, and the system correctly tracks when a call was actually picked up versus just sent over.

  • AI-604 — Harden warm/cold handoff recovery for agent and media failures

Warm and cold handoff now work on the happy path: the caller is connected, the receiving side gets context, and transfer lifecycle events distinguish dispatch from human answered.

  • AI-574 — Call variable prompt contract and verified patient context

Receptionist V2 harness debugging found that LiveKit call variables are not yet a reliable prompt contract for inbound calls and verified identity context.

  • AI-567 — Harden appointment cancellation variables and tool flow

Cancellation was still too brittle in the V2 harness/tool path.

  • AI-573 — SIP warm-transfer lifecycle: separate dial accepted from human answered

Production MCR transfer disconnections traced to conflating dial-accepted with human-answered in SIP warm-transfer lifecycle.

  • AI-535 — AI observability, Langfuse reporting, and call replay requirements

Specify the traces, metrics, reports, and review surfaces Research needs to judge agent quality.

  • AI-541 — Recovery behavior library and end-call redesign

Canonical agent responses for common failure states; replace brittle end-call behavior with explicit, stage-aware policy.

Mobile & Interpreter

  • ENG-2114 — Replace Regenerate Note source toggles with a segmented control (Merged to dev)

Single segmented control replaces two on/off toggles so audio-vs-transcript choice is clearer and mutually exclusive.

Scribe

  • AI-524 — Scribe template dropdown = Langfuse template set for that organization

Selectable note templates in the scribe UI now match exactly the set defined for each org in Langfuse.

Bug Fixes

  • ENG-1935 — Sign-in bounces back to /sign-in after successful auth

Fixed cross-subdomain deploy where hard reload after sign-in dropped the live Firebase session and bounced users back to /sign-in.
